I aim to create things that look good and work well. My background is in book design, and I find that the rigor and thoughtfulness of print design has helped me to approach UI/UX purposefully and methodically. Beyond the web dev/software design world, I love to tell stories with photo, video, and graphic design.

I became a partner in CIRT because I believe wholeheartedly that we can make an ecological and societal difference by shining a light on the state of materials recovery in the US and beyond. As my parents always taught me: when you know better, you do better.

On the personal side, my people are Sarah (wife) and Ava (daughter). I can think of no better way to spend my time than exploring the world with those two. I love the mountains, and the forest, and the desert, and — to a lesser extent — the beach. Bikes are my thing, but I'm also happy hiking, paddling, or whatever else. Just let me be outside.
